About the Artist


     My name is Daniel and I create truly unique art work , I classify myself as an "Elemental Artist" I enjoy working with different species of wood which have unique grain patterns that mimic movement in the piece.

my artistic process includes the use of water based stains , pyrography , introducing the element of stone from the Miskwaa Ziibi river , finished with a high grade epoxy resin.

 

About the Gallery


     Founded in the summer of 2016 , again a truly unique gallery experience , located in Trent Lakes we offer visitors a complete open concept during the summer tourist season whereas you can enjoy the original art under natures shaded canopy of mature maples or take some time with friends or family to relax by the shore of the Miskwaa Ziibi river and absorb nature in a totally relaxed atmosphere.

Open all year 11:00-4:00 most days

About the main page image: this was a 1920's canvas canoe that I have transformed into a work of art using my unique elemental art form with rocks from the river ,sculpted trees and finished in an epoxy resin.

Upcoming Project "Dedicate a Canoe"

Hi all , now that we are heading into the long late fall and winter months I am happy to announce a new project I will be launching to keep me out of trouble and in my studio, lol
As many of you may have heard about a project I did a few years back called the "lilredcanoe" project (google it, still active with over 10,250 views all over the world).
Anyway, back to my new project "Dedicate-a-Canoe" is basically the same concept but on a larger scale.
If you or someone you know may wish to participate my new project let me know.
There will be no cost and the only obligation is to set it free yourself at the Miskwaa Ziibi.
